Mission:
The mission of the Woodinville Water District is to provide safe and reliable service to all our customers at an economical cost.
Goals:
In pursuing this goal, the District's specific objectives will be:
Provide potable drinking water at acceptable flows and pressures to all customers of the District.
Provide sanitary sewer service to all customers requesting service of the District who are located within the Urban Growth Area (UGA) as established by King County.
The District recognizes that the District's function is not to plan land uses within its boundary, but to respond to land uses planned for the community by the proper authority (i.e., King County and the City of Woodinville).
The District's facilities, their encumbrances, and their impact on the community will not be used as tools for implementing unscheduled changes in the planned land uses within the District.
The priorities of the District are established as follows: Emergencies, Maintenance/ Operations and New Service Installations.
Educate customers in the efficient use of water and safe disposal of wastewater.
The Woodinville Water District is a progressive organization that includes an elected five member Board of Commissioners, which is supported by a General Manager and staff of thirty two employees.
