History

The first World Beef Expo was held at the Dane County Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin on April 16-18, 1993. The show was held for three years in Madison as a spring show. In 1996, the event was moved to Milwaukee and changed to a fall show.

The World Beef Expo has been held at Wisconsin State Fair Park since 1996. The event continues to grow and has become one of the biggest cattle shows in the Midwest.
