The Worth Fire Department had it's beginings as a volunteer fire department in 1925. William Little was Worth's first Fire Chief.

The Village of Worth Fire Station is staffed 24 hours a day with a full time crew of both Fire Fighters and Paramedics, enabling the department to offer both Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
