MISSION

Our Mission at YMCA Camp Miller is to provide positive life-enhancing experiences for youth through activities that focus on teaching YMCA core values, developing life skills, and building character in a safe, fun, supportive outdoor setting.

OVERVIEW

From summer resident camp to outdoor environmental education to corporate adventure retreats and weddings, there are plenty of recreational opportunities for all at YMCA Camp Miller.  Camp Miller has a 114 year history of camping and is located just 45 miles south of Duluth on beautiful Sturgeon Lake.  The scenic natural setting provides an excellent opportunity for all who visit.

With 340 acres of woodland, a crystal clear lake and over 8 miles of hiking trails, outdoor recreation is unlimited.  Our fun-filled activities teach the benefits of teamwork and conservation of resources along with the core values of the YMCA: Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.

Camp Miller serves children ages 7-16 and offers an excellent variety of activities and programs.  While at camp, your child may participate in any or all of the following: swimming, canoeing, archery, field sports, kayaking, nature hikes, fishing, sailing, arts-n-crafts, rock climbing, horseback riding, rifle safety and marksmanship, and more!
