Who We Are:

ZionLutheranChurch And School Is A Member Of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The Church Was Established In The Homes Of Parishioners In Owego In 1921. We Are Traditional, Confessional Lutherans Of The Augsburg Confession (1530) And The Book Of Concord (1580). These Expressed The Confessions Of The Reformers Of The Christian Church In The 16th Century, Which We Believe To Be As Valid Today As Then. We Make Contemporary Use Of God's Means Of Grace Through His Word, Law And Gospel, Sacraments, Holy Baptism And The Lord's Supper. We Believe The Holy Scriptures As The Inerrant And Trustworthy Word Of God. We Believe, Teach, And Confess That According To The Bible, "It Is By Grace We Are Saved Through Faith" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Because God So Loved Us, We Love Our Fellow Man. One Expression Of This Love For Others Is Our Christian Education Endeavors: Our Parochial School, Founded And Built In 1981, Presently Enrolls Pre-K, Full Day-Kindergarten, And Grades One Through Five. Currently 60 Students Are Enrolled. Many Activities Are Available For Both Parishioners And Parents Of Our School.
