The Atlanta Athletic Club is known internationally for its 36 holes of golf on two championship courses - Highlands and Riverside. Every year since 2009 an independent survey group has ranked the Atlanta Athletic Club in the top ten of country clubs in the United States and it has been chosen as a Platinum Club every year by the Club Leaders Forum. Past golf championships hosted include: 114th U.S. Amateur, 93rd PGA Championship, 2002 U.S. Junior Amateur, 83rd PGA Championship in 2001, 1990 Women’s Open and many more.
