One of the most breathtakingly beautiful parks in the Southwest. Take a ride by horse or mountain bike, or explore on foot in almost 30,000 acres of canyon carved out over a million years. 'The Grand Canyon of Texas' is something not to be missed. Then again, it’s so vast, you couldn’t miss it if you tried. Come enjoy this park with Texas Outdoor Family! Texas Outdoor Family is a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department program to teach groups or families the basic outdoor skills during this weekend workshop. We provide all the necessary camping equipment including tents, cooking gear and sleeping bags. All you will need to bring is your food and personal items. Our guides will teach you all you need to know for a great overnight camping experience from setting up a tent to activities to do in the park. You are not out there alone! All for only $65 per family of up to six people. There is a 16 family limit per workshop so spots will fill fast.
