Christina Harsant, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who earned her medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her general surgery residency at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. Dr. Harsant specializes in minimally invasive hernia repair, antireflux operations, and surgery for benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid, esophagus and stomach (foregut). She also has extensive collaborative experience working with the thoracic surgery team on complex foregut cases. Dr. Harsant performs robotic surgery, with a focus on da Vinci assisted hernia repair. Dr. Harsant is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. She is a faculty fellow of the Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital general surgery residency program and a clinical faculty member for the University of Toledo Medical School and the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
