Kayla Weiss, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine. She completed her medical training at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri.
Kayla sees patients ages 18 and above for various health conditions, injuries, and illnesses, including abdominal pain, urinary issues, seasonal allergies, upper respiratory problems, cold and flu symptoms, and minor musculoskeletal issues such as sprains and fractures. Kayla provides chronic management for conditions such as asthma, hypertension, elevated cholesterol, gout, arthritis, and diabetes and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). She also offers annual wellness exams and provides preventative health and lifestyle guidance.
Kayla is passionate about preventing illness and maintaining good health. As a United States Air Force Reserves member, she is committed to life-long learning and service. She strives to give the best care to her patients through evidence-based medicine and quality, compassionate care.
Originally from St. Francois County, Missouri, Kayla moved to St. Louis in 2017 to work at Missouri Baptist Medical Center as an ICU registered nurse, and later as an inpatient diabetes educator.
Kayla enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, reading, exercising, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Kayla also has an active dalmatian named Aurora and volunteers with Needy Paws Rescue.
