Matthew P. Goetz, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Goetz specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. He is an expert in pharmacogenomic testing in breast cancer to determine the best personalized treatment plan for an individual. He has a special interest in the development of new treatments for endocrine-resistant breast cancer and estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. Dr. Goetz is co-chair of the Breast Cancer Disease Group and co-leader of the Women’s Cancer Research Program within the Cancer Center. He also serves as the Enterprise Deputy Director, Translational Research.
