Robert R. McWilliams, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. McWilliams treats pancreatic cancer, gastrointestinal cancers and melanoma. He is an expert in immunotherapy and targeted therapy with an emphasis on using genomic technology to determine the best personalized treatment plan for a person’s specific cancer. He has a special interest in broadening clinical trial options for people with rare cancers and diseases for which current standard therapies are inadequate. Dr. McWilliams is Enterprise Co-Deputy Director for Cancer Practice, Vice Chair of the Department of Oncology and serves as Co-Chair of the Enterprise Chemotherapy Oversight Group.
