Samuel Richter, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Richter specializes in treating lung cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and brain and spine tumors.
Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute, Dr. Richter served as the Chief Resident for SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Department of Radiation Oncology. During training he completed an intensive rotation in brachytherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He is currently a member of the Radiation Safety Committee and Credentials Committee for Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is an institutional principal investigator on multiple clinical trials for stereotactic radiosurgery and radiation therapy with immunotherapy.
Dr. Richter’s approach to cancer care is to empower and educate his patients so that together they can make the best individualized treatment plan. He provides the full range of evidence-based radiation therapy options and state-of-the art technologies so that his patients are receiving world-class treatment close to home. He believes that multidisciplinary collaboration and communication is essential to achieve the best cancer outcomes.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Richter enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, live music and sporting events, art and cinema.
