Dr. Tim Kruser is board certified in radiation oncology. He obtained his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin and earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine both located in Madison, WI. He completed his transitional internship and his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Kruser also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center in Madison. Dr. Kruser’s practice is focused on brain tumors and lung cancer as well as head and neck and skin cancers. Dr. Kruser is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncologists, the Society of NeuroOncology, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. He is also a member of the NRG Brain Tumor core committee for clinical trial development and an associate senior editor of the main radiation oncology journal, the IJROBP. In his time away from work, Dr. Kruser enjoys running and is an avid Badger basketball fan. He and his wife also golf and travel in addition to trying to corral their two young boys. I do my best to understand who each patient is as a person before going into particulars concerning their medical care. It is important to me that I know about their family, their hobbies, and their goals for care before we work together to optimize the game plan for their cancer treatment. - Timothy Kruser, MD
