Physician Assistant Tonya Sartor grew to love the health care field while serving as a medic in the military. Tonya views the patient as the most important member of a health care team. She says creating a plan that works for patients is necessary to accomplish any health goal and listening is the first step. Tonya earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University. Tonya has also earned an HIV Specialist Credential from the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Born in Portland, Tonya enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, sports and playing with her yellow Labrador.
