William Hanley graduated with his Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University in 1999. He later studied at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. There, he received his Master of Science in Nursing, and became certified as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Clinical Nurse Specialist, and an ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2006.
Mr. Hanley started his medical education as a Navy Corpsman, serving the USMC and USN in acute care, and field medicine. Now, William serves the Michiana Community as a Nurse Practitioner with Beacon Medical Group. He has extensive experience in the Emergency Department, Adult and Pediatric Intensive Care.
Mr. Hanley enjoys serving his community and has worked on various projects, such as Operation Stand Down, where he treated homeless veterans in Long Beach, California; Operation Katrina Relief, serving as a charge nurse in Houston, Texas. William worked as a Health Assessment Instructor and Advanced Cardiovascular Lecture, and contributed to the Emergency Nursing Association exam.
As a Nurse Practitioner, William provides care to trauma and surgical patients through the continuum of care. He works as First Assist in surgery, and provides care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
