The mission of The Capitol Theatre to strengthen the cultural capacity of the community served, by providing access to performing art and entertainment opportunities that enrich quality of life.

Included in our mission are two primary goals:

- To facilitate community access to the Theatre and it's services

- To provide the community of Yakima with top-rate cultural and entertainment attractions that would not otherwise be available to the Yakima Valley
