Founded in 2007, The Rockbox Theater is a live music venue located just 99 steps off the historic Hill Country main street of Fredericksburg, TX. Our theater has entertained thousands of people since then with some of the best songs ever written. Built inside what was originally a furniture warehouse, Rockbox is a state-of-the-art entertainment venue that tastefully preserves the older elements of the building's industrial roots while adding a refined sense of cleanliness and precision.

Originally, Rockbox focused on rock 'n' roll and the music of the 1950's-1960's, but in 2012, we began adding special events to continue to serve our music loving patrons. We offer a truly unique experience in the Fredericksburg music scene, proudly presenting professional variety live-music shows, including tribute bands, original artist series and more!
