The Helen Keller Festival celebrates local heritage, inspires hope, and fosters compassion by honoring the life and achievements of Helen Keller. Through collaboration with the Alabama Institute for Deaf Blind, we promote education, awareness, and accessibility for the deaf and blind communities. Our inclusive event offers enriching experiences for all ages, including live music, educational experiences, arts and crafts, and engaging activities for children.

Schedule:

10:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: Paint in the Park with The Artsy Place Muscle Shoals, Spring Park, Tuscumbia
Celebrate the Helen Keller Festival with an artsy twist grab your brushes and let your creativity sizzle! All painting supplies provided. Step‑by‑step guidance from local artists. Festival wristband included with your ticket. Admission: $25.00, space is limited.

12:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: The Marketplace, Spring Park, Tuscumbia
The Helen Keller Festival is proud to host a wide variety of artists and select vendors in the Marketplace. You will also find a selection of retail vendors and commercial made products as well. The Marketplace is made up of vendors from all over the southeast. Come on down and see what’s in store.

12:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: Keller Kids in the Park, Spring Park, Tuscumbia
Admission: Free. Space is limited. First come, first serve.

4:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Music in the Park, Spring Park, Tuscumbia
Gates Open at 12:00pm
Admission: $5.00
