The Agricadabra Magic Show is filled with fun and even some education. We use 12 volunteers during the show and even have a live rabbit! The show combines magic and agricultural education specific to the great state of Florida.
Hypnosis Show:
The comedy hypnosis show is always a big hit at our events. It runs for about an hour, and we use around 16-20 volunteers. During the show, Grayson hypnotizes participants who are given a variety of suggestions while under hypnosis, such as singing and dancing like a pop star, becoming a member of an orchestra, meeting their favorite celebrity, and so much more.
Cowboy Camp with Les McDowell:
Stop by Cowboy Camp and learn to rope, listen to Cowboy Poetry and stories of early Florida.
Learn to spin a rope and find the inter Cowboy in all of us.
Trinity Heritage Ranch:
This live exhibit contains an old-time creamery where patrons participate in preparing a cow for milking by hand. Through their bilingual demonstrations they show that agriculture has no barriers. Kids get hands-on experiences with the process of making, butter, ice cream and soap using historic tools and machines in these processes, and they learn the concept of “Home Made”.
East Knoll Pottery:
Reggie the potter has been potting for over 50 years! I have been owner of a small pottery company and have taught adults and children. I specialize in Early American History of clays, bricks, pottery, tiles and other uses. I teach how to find “wild” clay, how to process it, fire it in primitive and modern kilns, how and why glazes are used and much, much more!
I will be demonstrating making pots on a reproduction of a 1700s wooden treadle wheel. I can make large pottery, but when I travel, I demonstrate forming miniature pottery in a variety of clays on my foot powered wheel. Come and see how miniatures are made and ask any questions on clays and glazes.
With anecdotes, stories and jokes, pottery has never been so informative and fun.
Eudora Farms:
Experience our interactive, hands on exotic animal petting zoo; it has been a popular attraction at many fairs and festivals throughout the southeast. They have 40-50 animals which include 15-20 rare and exotic species from around the world! Moogician:
An Act of Magical Cow-medy and Moo-steries. The Moogician will butter his way into your hearts as he performs one "cheezy" trick after the other as he "milks" it for everything he can. A show that is udderly entertaining and absolutely Bovine.
Pirate Man Dan:
Pirate Man Dan offers a high energy nautically themed show that includes magic, danger, unicycling and escape thrills that will have all ages sitting at the edge of their seats. The show uses numerous volunteers to be a part of the family friendly variety attraction and creates memories you want to be a part of. Catch him around the fair in between shows on his one of a kind electric land moving ship!
It is easy know when this pirate is around as thousands of bubbles, sea shanty music and Pirate Man Dan himself changes the ambiance like magic. Get a chance to get on the boat and take a photo as a pirate, pop a bubble while you are amazed by the thousands of them that surround you, and get down with some catchy tunes. Don't forget to say Arr, or Aye, or tell a pirate joke as Pirate Man Dan has a collection of pirate jargon and nautical lore to answer with.
Pork Chop Revue:
The Pork Chop Revue is an unforgettable family show filled with comedy and an entertaining cast of lovable performing pigs and hogs - swine of all kind. Performed in a barnyard atmosphere, our performing porkers and barnyard buddies delight audiences with a display of amazing stunts and laughable antics that leave spectators in side-splitting laughter. You won’t be able to help but smile as you watch these bundles of bacon jump hurdles, waltz and even sing! Highlighting each performance is Oink the Singing Pig, a memory creating critter that brings joy to the young and old alike! But these pigs don't race; they're too smart for that.
Marc Dobson - The One Man Band:
The One Man Band, Marc Dobson puts on an inspiring performance playing instruments Marc has created. He performs on event grounds in multiple locations using a motorized and self-powered wagon loaded with 3,000 watts of modern sound equipment. His repertoire aims at every age covering songs from the 60’s thru to today with a mix of Rock, Country, Pop and more. With improv comedic antics, no two shows are alike which maybe is why Marc has been performing yearly at many fairs since the inception of his One Man Band.
Roger Abrahamson - Bowl Turner:
Roger the Giant Bowl Turner has been turning wooden bowls on foot-powered lathes for more than 35 years!
I teach and demonstrate at fairs, festivals and folk schools around the county, making traditional wooden bowls using ancient techniques.
I begin each bowl with fresh green wood, roughing out with an ax, mounting it on my own foot-powered lathe and then carving out a perfect bowl with my own hand-made tools!
I will be demonstrating the use of different woods, traditional turning and carving methods along with discussing ancient and modern equipment. Come see how bowls have been made for thousands of years and talk to me about wood, tools, old and new techniques and your own projects!
My demonstration is an astounding, educational and entertaining experience with anecdotes, stories, jokes and historic musical entertainment thrown in for kids and adults.
