The Victoria Bach Festival celebrates our 50th anniversary season in 2025. Led by Artistic Director Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez, the Festival honors the work of J.S. Bach and composers spanning the ages. Orchestral, choral, and chamber works are performed by local and nationally acclaimed artists in various venues in Victoria and South Texas.

9:00AM: Faith DeBow, Piano Bach 2.0 at St. Mary's Activity Center
Pianist Faith De Bow performs a diverse repertoire featuring works by J.S. Bach, the English Romantic York Bowen, and modern composers who draw inspiration from Bach, such as Peter Schickele (known as PDQ Bach) and even the Beatles.

12:00 PM: Beach and Arensky 9 First United Methodist Church
Rachel Wolfe, Flute Michelle Schumann, Piano
Join us for an afternoon of lyrical beauty and rich textures featuring Amy Beach's Theme and Variations for Flute and String Quartet and Anton Arensky's Piano Quintet. Beach's elegant and expressive work showcases the flute's soaring melodies intertwined with lush string harmonies, while Arensky's quintet offers a deeply Romantic blend of passion and refinement. Experience these two masterful chamber works in an intimate and moving performance.
