The Victoria Bach Festival celebrates our 50th anniversary season in 2025. Led by Artistic Director Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez, the Festival honors the work of J.S. Bach and composers spanning the ages. Orchestral, choral, and chamber works are performed by local and nationally acclaimed artists in various venues in Victoria and South Texas.

9:00AM: Bach Deconstructed Brent Baldwin at 9 St. Mary's Activity Center

Experience Bach anew in Bach Deconstructed, as Brent Baldwin reimagines the Cello Suites through a bold, modern lens. This innovative program unravels their structure while honoring their timeless brilliance.

12:00PM: Weverton Santos, Horn Logan Wadley, Tuba at 9 First United Methodist Church

Weaverton Santos and Logan Wadley, our 2025 Emerging Artists, bring outstanding talent to the Victoria Bach Festival. Weaverton excels on horn, while Logan enriches the stage with resonant tuba performances. As dedicated Eastman School of Music students, their artistry promises to captivate and inspire.

7:30PM: Anton Nel, Pianist at Trinity Episcopal Church

Anton Nel, renowned pianist and faculty member at the University of Texas, delivers an enchanting performance that captivates audiences with his virtuosity and profound musical expression. His concert showcases a repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, offering a mesmerizing journey through the depths of piano music. Attendees can expect a night of exquisite artistry and emotional depth, making it a truly unforgettable musical experience.
