Traffic Alert Reminder
Highway 111 & Library Way
Just a reminder that the utility undergrounding project on Highway 111 at Library Way in Rancho Mirage is ongoing. Lane closures will alternate between westbound and eastbound as the project progresses. The timing of this work is unavoidable and peak season traffic volumes will cause delays. The City will be monitoring traffic flow during peak periods and modifying traffic signal timing to ease traffic flow.
The City will post regular updates to inform the community on the status of the lane closures. The City asks for your patience during this time and encourages the use of the alternate route shown below during peak traffic periods.

The City of Rancho Mirage continues to save water! The City Council approved an additional $300,000 allocation to the Turf Rebate Program last Thursday. Bringing the program total to $3,250,000 which is expected to result in saving around 95,000,000 gallons of water per year.
Interested in saving water? There is still funding available for Rancho Mirage Residents and HOA/Commercial on domestic water through the City’s partnership with CVWD. In addition, for HOAs on well water that want to reduce their water usage there is a supplemental direct City program.
