From: Hart Memorial Central LibraryCalling all young authors and artists!
Do you like to write stories or poems? Are you an artist? We want to see your talent in the next LitMag, the Osceola Literary Magazine! 2023's theme is Spill the Beans. Share a time you just couldn't keep something to yourself. Maybe you spoiled a surprise party, ruined the ending of a show or book or accidentally told someone what their present might be? Maybe you had a good reason, or a mistake turned out to have a happy ending? Use your experience or imagination to paint the picture and tell the story. Open to kids and teens ages 8 to 17.
Submissions accepted December 15 - January 15 through BiblioBoard. For more information visit our LitMag 2023 page.
The holiday break is almost here but that doesn't mean it needs to be boring! With the OLL Access Pass, students can:
-Check out up to three books, DVDs, audiobooks, or hotspots -- punch the OLL Access Pass number into the checkout station or tell it to the librarian when checking out
-Place holds on titles to pick up later
-Stream movies and music and download ebooks and audiobooks online using a computer, tablet, or phone at osceolalibrary.org
-Conduct online research using encyclopedias, newspaper archives, or other databases using the Library's website or apps
*This program is only for students in the Osceola School District. Students in homeschool, charter, or private schools may apply for and use a full-service Library card.
