Dr. Millie Torres, Principal of Deerwood Elementary
Dr. Millie Torres has held the following positions: Teacher at P.S. 132 Juan Pablo Duarte School in New York (2003-2005); Teacher at Sunrise Elementary (2005-2011); Teacher and Dean of Students at Bellalago Academy (2011-2019); Assistant Principal at Bellalago Academy (2019-2022); and Assistant Principal at Discovery Intermediate School (2022-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York, a master's degree in Bilingual Childhood Education from The City College of the City University of New York, and a doctorate degree in Instructional & Curriculum Leadership from Northcentral University in Arizona.
Magali Rassel, Principal of Highlands Elementary
Magali Rassel has held the following positions: Teacher at Tilden Elementary School in Orange County (1992-1999); District ESOL Resource Teacher for Orange County Public Schools (2000-2003); Assistant Principal of Windermere Elementary School (2003-2006); Principal of Three Points Elementary School in Orange County (2006-2009); Director of Multilingual Student Education Services for Orange County Public Schools (2009-2013); Senior Administrator of Human Resources for Orange County Public Schools (2013-2016); Principal of Challenger 7 Elementary School in Brevard School District (2016-2020); and Principal of Golfview Elementary Magnet School in Brevard School District (2020-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Marc Hernandez, Assistant Principal of Osceola High School
Marc Hernandez has held the following administrative positions: Assistant Principal in Austin Independent School District (2012-2017) and Assistant Principal at Liberty High School and Parkway Middle School (2017-2022). He received a bachelor's degree in History and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University.
Matthew Farrell, Assistant Principal at Sunrise Elementary
Matthew Farrell has held the following positions: Teacher at Kissimmee Elementary, P.M. Wells Charter, Denn John Middle, Parkway Middle, and Harmony High (2007-2017); Dean at Neptune Middle (2017-2018); Instructional Coach at Parkway Middle (2018-2021); and Instructional Coach at St. Cloud Elementary (2021-present). He received a master's degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.
