As one of Milwaukee’s oldest arts organizations, CIVIC MUSIC Milwaukee has been active in developing the musical life of our community since 1918.
Participating instrumentalists and vocalists take part in a variety of unique opportunities to advance their musical study through private lessons, auditions, workshops, competition, and performance. Last year, CIVIC MUSIC reached over 1,000 young musicians in our community. More than 90% of our programming involves students 18 years old or younger.
The mission of CIVIC MUSIC is to support music education and provide performance opportunities to young musicians in the greater Milwaukee area.
