Mohonk Mountain House is not open to the public on the 4th of July. An overnight reservation is required to join in the 4th of July activities.

9:30AM - 12:30PM: Morning Kids' Club: Fourth of July Celebration

Come to Kids’ Club for a morning of fun! Options will include rousing rounds of Gaga Ball, or relaxing and creating a colorful banner for our July 4th parade. Drop-off is available during the first half hour of any program for ages 4-12 only. A waiver must be completed for each child before their first session via the QR code at the Main Bulletin Board or Kids’ Club.

10:00AM: Brisk Morning Hike

Brisk, guided hike along Lake Shore Road, Forest Drive, Home Farm Circle, Long Woodland Drive, Humpty Dumpty Drive and Copes Lookout Path. 3.5 miles. Sneakers or hiking boots required. Ages 7 and up.

11:00AM - 12:00PM: Archery

Limit 30. Sign up required-no earlier than 24 hours in advance. Please call 845-256-2186 to sign up. No late admittance. Ages 13 and up. Closed-toe shoes required.

2:00PM - 3:30PM: Afternoon Kids' Club: Junior Naturalist

Enjoy a hands-on experience through nature with our House Naturalist, Michael Ridolfo, in our Junior Naturalist program. We will learn about the plants, animals, and even rocks here at Mohonk. Drop-off is available during the first half hour of any program for ages 4-12 only. A waiver must be completed for each child before their first session via the QR code at the Main Bulletin Board or at Kids’ Club.

2:00PM: Leisurely Afternoon Hike

Leisurely guided hike around the lake. 3 miles. Sneakers or hiking boots required. Ages 7 and up.

2:00PM: Family Archery

Join a member of our Recreation Staff out on the range for a hands-on introduction to archery, focusing on safety and basic target skills. Ages 7 and up. Sign up required-no earlier than 1 week in advance. Please use your 8-day pre-arrival to sign up online or with the Concierge once on property.

3:30PM - 4:30PM: Tomahawk Throwing

7:00PM - 8:30PM: Evening Kids' Club: Red, White and Blue Party

Celebrate 4th of July weekend with a Red, White and Blue Party! Dress in theme for dancing, games, prizes, and more! 9:00PM: Live Music: SoulSense
